The History of Udonthani Education Center


       Udonthani Education Center was found on the collaboration of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) and Udon Thani Provincial Administration Organization which both have a mutual agreement that Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University will be responsible for educational affairs, while Udon Thani Provincial Administration Organization will be responsible for building management.

       On 24 April 2013, the University Council has approved the establishment of Udonthani Education Center, and on 10 May 2013, the agreement of cofounding Udonthani Education Center was signed at Tong Yai Meeting Hall, Muang district, Udon Thani with provincial governor as an official witness.

       Udon Thani Provincial Administration Organization started a construction on Sam Pharo sub-district, Muang district, Udon Thani with the total area of 28 rais (approx. 11 acres) consisted of one general building, two study buildings and two restroom areas. The agreement on building usage and management was signed, and then on 26 May 2015 SSRU and Udon Thani Provincial Administration Organization mutually planted Dok Kaew Chaochom (Lignum Vitae) which is the university symbol.

       Initially, there were three courses teaching at Udonthani Education Center, as follows:

              1. International Business Program

              2. Tourism Industry and Hospitality Management Program

              3. Logistics Management Program

       However, at the present, there are two courses remaining which are Tourism Industry and Hospitality Management Program and Logistics Management Program.
